As a founding member of the Asian Mile Challenge, we at the Japan Racing Association share the joy to see the event expanded at fantastic rate. After only eight months since it was incepted in collaboration with the Hong Kong Jockey Club this Spring, it has now grown to link four of the
world's best mile races from all corners of the Asian Racing Federation region.

I believe the Asian Mile Challenge is a great vehicle to share the spirit and excitement of thoroughbred racing with fans by having the world's top horses across the borders and compete in great international events. We look forward to welcoming runners from around the world to Japan in June for the 2006 Yasuda Kinen, with prospect of millions of dollars in bonuses on offer.
